For the past two weeks in the Port Bay region, Brown trout are being caught in 30-80' of water. On the planning boards, use 2-3 split shots. Downrigger fishing has been from 15-40' down. Very few salmon were taken this weekend. Smallmouth Bass opens Saturday
and they have been on the bite.
