Well mother nature has been good to the spring-
fishermen, with the rain and cloud cover that we've
been having the brown trout fishing has remained fantastic. most of the action has been from 10 - 150'
of water either side of Port Bay, with some guys reporting catching 2year old king salmon, from 35'-50'
down off the downriggers. and there is also some walleye being taken as well.
the weather forecast is promising for this weekend so
load up your family or friends and come enjoy some of
the best trout action, that we're having in the past
4-5 years. any selection of spoons are working, because
there is several year classes of bait fish in close.
good luck,
Capt. Frank L. DeNoto
