July 05th,2001...Matt Iatridis and family took home 3 nice salmon and 1 steelhead. After a mild cold front pushed threw the area, with a 2' chop on the lake all morning. We fished in 700' feet of water off Port Bay, and found bait and fish in our area. Matt was happy at the end of the day,to stay offshore and catch these nice fish. The temperature offshore is 52.0 down 50' and all the bait and fish were from 25-60' down. Closer to shore, the prefered temp. is down 100-140',so get ready to troll slower with shorter leads to get to that level. Good Luck this weekend. Capt.Frank and Charlie DeNoto |
