As of June 15th 2002, The shoreline of Lake Ontario..from Port Bay - Sodus Bay had upwelled. The shoreline temperature was 50.0. With the overcast skys the charter boats were fishing brown trout, pulling spoons was the most productive lures. Smallmouth Bass season opened today, I seen about 10 boats fishing for them. The bass are still carrying eggs, with the cool spring I don't think they've spawned yet. I never spoke to anybody who might have fished offshore. Good Luck fishing Capt. Frank |
